The Installer/Journeyman will be responsible for assisting with all phases of installation and maintenance of both interior and exterior electric and non-illuminated signage. *Top pay in the industry, signing bonus, substantial benefit package (per negotiated union contract)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the survey of job sites as necessary
  • Respond to installation and service requests in our Seattle market
  • Assist with installation of new signs for clients
  • Assist with service requests for new and existing clients
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • 3+ years’ journeyman installation experience required
  • Job site surveying experience required
  • Job estimating experience preferred
  • Prior sign experience strongly preferred

Permit Survey Specialist (Bellevue, WA).
This position assists the project team in the management of the permit and survey process from start to finish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff with permit application process through internet, telephone, or in person communication with local and regional planning and building departments
  • Assist with the sign code analysis, preparation, and process of project plans, specifications, and other applicable contract and permit documents
  • Maintain and track project files throughout the facility
  • Receive and process permit approvals and releases
  • Ensure ongoing successful communication between all parties with regard to permit applications
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • 2+ years' experience in permit process/project management required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all departments and all levels of management
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Solid basic math skills
  • Proficient in standard office software, including MS office and spreadsheets

Quality Control (Yakima, WA).
This position will be responsible for the implementation and management of the Quality Control Program, including the coordination, performance and execution of fabrication inspection, reviewing dimension, color and finish of all manufactured products. The QC Lead is responsible for ensuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds all project contractual requirements and maintains the standard of excellence established by TAG.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain documents and reports detailing inspection process.
  • Work on factory floor to identify and report to management any discrepancies between contractual requirements and products.
  • Inspect products purchased from suppliers and maintain records of supplier performance.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a custom fabrication shop, specializing in architectural projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand custom fabrication concepts and shop drawings.
  • Demonstrated experience with manufacturing safety practices and accident prevention programs.
  • Strong MS Office skills, specifically in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven, focused and extremely organized.

Production Manager (Yakima, WA).
This position manages the employees and the daily operations of the production department to achieve productivity, quality and safety goals. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the production process and can effectively motivate a large team to achieve success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the supervision of a skilled and semiskilled labor force to meet daily rates of production output in the manufacturing environment, spanning two shifts.
  • Manage daily schedules, priorities, quality and efficiency of manufacturing.
  • Lead daily manufacturing team meetings to insure a successful transition between shifts.
  • Plan, prepare for and present manufacturing updates for departmental and plant wide meetings. Ensure these meetings exist, occur, and have the right content to keep the plant on track with improvements and initiatives.
  • Conceptualize and create implementation plans for process improvement efforts that ultimately influence the goals of manufacturing.
  • Participate in required tasks to successfully integrate new products into manufacturing.
  • Partner with maintenance to develop preventative maintenance schedule to insure optimum machine performance.
  • Participate in budgeting process, capital planning, cost take out, staffing, and other elements to ensure financial and operational objectives are met.
  • Identify opportunities and problem areas for targeted improvement by creating, reviewing and monitoring data or reports that show performance to KPI's. (specifically productivity, waste, quality and safety).
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • 3-5 years of middle management of an hourly work force - preferably in the manufacturing of Architectural/Electrical/Environmental Signage or similar industry
  • Must have a high level of communication skills - both written and verbal – and the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Must have a strong ability to coach and lead teams in a high volume, high quality, fast-paced environment
  • Must possess considerable supervisory, administrative, analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills
